Landhotel-Restaurant Donner in Meschede

Very nice family run hotel. Very nice location. Rooms are very clean and modern. Staff friendly and invites you to small talk (I can only recommend). So for several nights in the Hochsauerlandkreis as a single traveler or with a family, I recommend this hotel without any flaws.

I can only report good things. Food in the restaurant or in the beer garden is very tasty and the dishes that you could take home during Corona were very good. The price range is a bit higher, but fully corresponds to the price / performance ratio.

I stayed at the Donner hotel for the first time on a business trip and also ate something in the evening. The positive in advance. Everyone is very friendly and tries very hard, especially the senior boss is still an old school service provider. I had a nice room with a decent bed and slept well and restfully. The food was delicious and for breakfast you can have various ice cream dishes freshly prepared and there are also various coffee options such as. B. Coffee with milk. What did I not like. The entire accounting seems chaotic. Lots of paper mess. My booking wasn't there and the company wasn't going to cover the costs. Despite the promise to clarify this later, I should then pay in the morning and then not after consultation. I was completely negatively surprised by the pricing of the dinner. I had a piece of turkey with savoy cabbage and potatoes. Everything is delicious, but not a particularly large portion either, costs 26 euros. Then 30 euros with a drink. In my opinion, not appropriate for a small main course with a drink. If I were there at the weekend with my wife, you can treat yourself to that, but it doesn't work that way for a small dinner on a business trip. My recommendation. It is better to hand out a small card with handwritten prices, then the guest knows where he is.

Because it's very tasty there .. everyone is very nice .. have been there very often .. .Last year we celebrated New Year's Eve with a 6-course menu ... and FIREWORKS ... CLASS

We were there yesterday with 3 people. I (71) have the best fried potatoes in my life to get. The brawn made of pork knuckle - meat was very good, and that with it Salad served very tasty. My daughter and wife were just too excited about your food. Even something as simple as an "Aperol Sprizz" was already recognizable by the color (bright orange) extremely tasty. We were there again this morning because I thought I forgot my "Armani" glasses there The senior boss provided almost the entire garden on the head to help us, but glasses were in one another hotel under the bed. Is only mentioned here around to show how customer-oriented this house is. Not for nothing was the "Michelin" attentive. All service employees and the Senior boss thank you and compliments.

The country hotel can be recommended very well! The staff and the senior manager were very nice and accommodating! In the restaurant: the dishes, very tasty ... ☆☆☆

Very tasty food. Their spaetzle was to die for. Never had them so light and fluffy.

It was very nice to sleep and the food was nice.

Clean, cozy, good food, friendly staff and owners.

Very good family run business. Very present owners. Only speak German, but the is someone who speak some English. Nicely kept and clean. Bar, breakfast and dinner service. Few steps up or down for the use of the inside lift.Good place for stopping to visit in the area. Not much to do for children.

Very great !!! A small, family-run country hotel, which is really operated with a lot of heart and in the hospitality more than capitalized. I am blown away by this hotel. The food in the restaurant is sooo delicious! I was there now 2x and was received on my second visit, as if I spend every day there. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Who expects Highclass is wrong here. If you want down-to-earth, well-kept and clean, that is absolutely right here. The breakfast is manageable, but that is also enough and special requests are gladly fulfilled. I am already looking forward to my next visit !!!!
